My practice is dedicated to children, adolescents, and families.  I graduated from the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC in 2003 with a specialty in child and family psychology.  I moved to the Chicago area to complete my internship with Advocate Family Care Network and the Childhood Trauma Treatment Program.  During the course of my graduate training, I was trained by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders in the application of Applied Behavioral Analysis.  I also had the opportunity to complete training in therapeutic day schools, child abuse agencies, community mental health programs, intensive outpatient treatment, and ADHD/Learning Disability outpatient treatment programs.  I have been providing psychotherapy and behavioral therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families for over 10 years and have been working in private practice for close to four years.

I have worked with children as young as three years of age and upward.  My specialty is in childhood anxiety, particularly OCD and trauma; but I also have extensive experience in treating depression, self-esteem issues, parenting issues, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.  I work closely with parents to help them support and encourage their children's positive growth and development.  I also enjoy working with individuals facing life transitions/stage of life issues, such as young adults making the transition into adulthood and women balancing the roles of work and motherhood.
