Dr. Taranowski has been the Employee Assistance Manager at Aon Corporation for the last 25 years. He received his Ph.D. from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the Past President of the Northern Illinois Employee Assistance Professionals Association and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Workplace Behavioral Health. Dr. Taranowski lectures frequently on, leadership development, positive psychology, workplace applications of positive psychology, employee assistance programs and responses to disaster trauma. He was also the recipient of the Northern Illinois Employee Assistance Professional of the year for 2009, and the prestigious 2009 International Employee Assistance Professional of the Year Award, presented by the International Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA).
