Chris Johnson, Psy.D. is a respected consulting psychologist and coach who has worked extensively for over 20 years with individual leaders and leadership teams in organizations as diverse as health care, manufacturing, finance, local municipalities, and education to effectively grapple with system-wide change. Clients have included Harris Bank, First American Bank, Alliant, Allianz of North America, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of IL, Borg Warner, ProSort Services, Corbion, Veolia Technical Solutions, Fulcrum Network, Feeding America, and Northern Illinois University and The Chicago School.

Of particular interest are the systemic effects of stress and the development of resiliency in the personal and professional lives of her clients. Mindfulness–the simple yet powerful capacity to be awake, aware and actively attentive to ones’ self, people and situations—serves as the backbone of her customized consulting and leadership coaching practice.
Chris holds a doctorate in psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago where she teaches in the Executive and Professional Development Program. She has advanced training in Systems Thinking from Northwestern University’s Family Institute Program, in Organizational Development from DePaul University and in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) from the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society. Chris is certified as an ‘Integral Coach’ from New Ventures West and as a Master Somatic Leadership Coach by the Strozzi Institute where she teaches leadership development.
