Dr. Jacquot is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Certified Addictions Counselor, Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and a Certified EMDR therapist. She is serving as the current chair of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Section of the Illinois Psychological Association. With over 25 years of experience in working with individuals, couples, families and groups, Dr. Jacquot is the founder and director of The Juniper Center, a holistic therapy practice with offices in Park Ridge, Northfield, and Lake Zurich, Illinois. Dr. Jacquot is a local and national lecturer on affirming, effective therapies for clients presenting with a variety of clinical pictures who also are LGBTQ. She also lectures regarding the treatment of trauma, substance abuse, working with couples and practice development. As a core faculty member of an LGBTQ competence certification initiative for ten years, Dr. Jacquot continues to train, consult with and supervise students, professionals and organizations on issues regarding affirming policies and therapies for LGBTQ individuals, couples and families.
