Dr. Pliskin received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. His Residency was at National Institute of Mental Health. He has been a Professor of Clinical psychiatry and Neurology at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago for over 13 years and Director of the Neurobehavior Program for 10 years.
He is presently the Chair of the Health Care Reimbursement Committee of IPA.

He is an Advisor for the AMA/CPT Health Care professional Advisory Committee on behalf of American Psychological Association.
