Dr. Kevin McClone is a licensed clinical psychologist, certified addictions counselor who has worked for over twenty years in the health care field. Kevin is on staff of two area hospitals where he treats patients struggling with various forms of addictions and mental health issues. Kevin currently is the Director of the Institute for Sexuality Studies located on the campus of Catholic Theological Union where he has provided one-month-long programs on Healthy Human Sexuality for clergy, religious and lay men and women from around the world. He has been a keynote speaker both nationally and internationally on topics related to human sexuality, cybersex, addiction recovery, building healthy relationships, emotional intelligence and loss and grief. He has been a featured speaker for such groups as; the Guest House Institute, the National Federation of Priests Councils, Catholics on Call, and the National Catholic Seminary Association.

Kevin teaches courses at Catholic Theological Union where he has taught such graduate level classes such as Healthy Human Sexuality for Ministry, Ministry to Persons and Families Struggling with Addictions, Contemporary Pastoral Issues and the Family, Ministry to the Dying and Grieving, Collaborative Leadership Skills for Ministry, and Intercultural Communication.

Kevin facilitated several groups of Heart Failure Patients as part of a landmark study sponsored by the National Institute of Health. He has regularly taught seminars on a variety of issues of human formation to the Institute for Religious Formation (IRF) and the Hesburg Sabbatical Programs both located at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. He has written numerous articles on topics such as Addiction Recovery and Treatment and Healthy Human Sexuality for such publications as Horizon, Seminary Journal, Touchtone, and Human Development Magazine.

Kevin maintains a private practice where he offers counseling, psychological testing and consultation services to various dioceses and religious communities. Kevin offers therapy, psychological testing and consultation services to several geriatric facilities in the Chicago and suburban areas.
